Malta, March 2010 - Time to go back to Tripoli

Got up at 6:30AM, packed and showered up. I skipped breakfast, went down to the lobby and checked out. I hung out in the lobby until the driver arrived, just after 8. Nice guy, loves his job. We hit rush hour traffic, which in Malta really isn’t much. Arrived at the airport around 8:30, no lines so I was able to check in with no issues. Through security and into the business lounge. Andrew was already there, I grab some grub and waited. Our flight was called, they did something different this time. They loaded the first bus with economy call passengers first. We were next, now all on board. We took off 10 minutes early. Back in Tripoli, no issues in customs in fact we were the only flight. Went to down to baggage claim and it was empty. Got our bags and went out to Meet & Greet. The place is empty then I realized it’s a holiday. The typical flux of annoying taxicab drivers making a pitch for business was missing, that was nice. Salla was running late but called to let me know. I offered Andrew a ride to his place, David had his drive coming in, Al, and Florencia driver was already there. Back home! Unpacked and took a small nap on the couch. Went up to dinner, only a few folks showed up. We had fried chicken and Sheppard’s Pie. Got back to the room and prepared for work tomorrow
