Departure day!

Checked in at the US Air international gate and was bumped up to first class from the ticket agent, she was from Tripoli. She was telling me how wonderful the food is and how she misses the fresh produce. I enjoyed my wait in the new US Air club. First class on an overseas trip is the only way to fly. During the flight I noticed that the sun never quite set, I saw just a little bit of sun light the entire trip. The first class seats laid flat and I got a good night of sleep.

Never had jet lag.

I arrived at Frankfort and needed to find the US Air club. I ended up getting lost in the airport but finally found the US Air club and took a shower.

Departed for TIP and arrived on time. Kent, the IT guy from TCB Dallas was at the gate to greet me. Customs was weird, I was held up while a group of custom agents went over my passport. Later I was told that this is normal for someone that’s in the country with a visa for the first.
